Bourke Exhibition Centre – Henry Lawson
The Henry Lawson exhibition at Bourke Exhibition Centre in rural NSW celebrates one of Australia’s foremost poets, and highlights his trip to the outback region which inspired some of his most iconic work. The 3-minute video installation montages period photos with textual elements from Lawson’s poetry to evoke the feel of 1890’s Australia.
Spinifex Group produced the installation. We worked with Spinifex’s artistic directors, taking period photos and applying camera mapping and photogrammetry techniques to bring the images to life, as well as adding 3D elements such as the steam engine.
