Place Vendome
Positioned within the newly constructed Parisian Resort in Macao is the retail precinct Place Vendôme – a nod to the famous square in Paris of the same name.
Totem was involved in 2 pieces in 2016, firstly marking the opening of Place Vendôme and secondly celebrating the Christmas season. Artists in Motion produced the shows; I worked with AIM’s artistic directors to produce the motion graphics sequences.
The canvas was a vast 19m high domed ceiling that forms a canopy over the retail area, set above an 11m high replica of Napoleon’s Column. The aim was to celebrate and highlight the opulence of the Parisian lifestyle.
